This position is responsible for assisting in providing Customer Care Solutions that enhance the customer experience and position the company for future growth and initiatives. Will assist the Solutions Team with the administration of Customer Care applications, analyzing processes and data, reporting, and documentation. This position will also work with application users, vendors and all levels of management to proactively provide solutions while creating standardization within the organization when possible.

This position is responsible for the operation and control of the company’s gas transmission and distribution system; and the managing of pipeline and peak shaving supplies. The incumbent must ensure that the system is operated within the constraints of federal, state and company codes and standards as well tariff constraints for the receipt and control of the system supply. In addition, this position is responsible for coverage of the company’s Field Service Dispatch department which coordinates Meter and Service field technicians with daily gas related work orders.

To coordinate, plan and schedule all activities required to develop and implement a comprehensive Integrity Management Program(s) (TIMP & DIMP) for Unitil’s transmission and distribution companies and to ensure these programs are in full compliance with all applicable state and federal codes. To assist with the development, implementation and administration of a comprehensive regulatory compliance and pipeline safety program(s) that encompasses construction, operation, maintenance, service and emergency response activities for the Gas Division. To act as the system administrator and analyst for the Company’s Compliance Management System (CMS) and other IT systems used by gas operations. To coordinate and provide oversight to the company’s leak survey programs (i.e., gas main and service). Professionally interact with customers, regulatory authorities and employees to ensure that the company satisfactorily meets their needs.

Job Summary: Responsible for developing and coordinating and administering technical, safety and environmental training. Interprets and advises field supervision of operational codes, standards, and local, state, and federal laws to ensure understanding and compliance. Responsible for the coordination, implementation, training and compliance of company safety & technical rules and regulations. Maintains records and documentation of all training, testing, evaluations, audits and surveys as required by the Company and Federal Regulators.
Minimum Qualifications: Must possess a working knowledge of technical training concepts and principles normally acquired through an apprenticeship program or a working knowledge of industrial safety practices and procedures, OSHA, workers’ compensation and other state and federal safety standards at a level normally acquired through the completion of a two-year degree in vocational or technical training or equivalent related work experience. Five years of experience in the field of natural gas or propane distribution/transmission.
Other Requirements: Required to maintain a valid driver’s license. Requires extensive travel 50%–75%.
