Mashed potatoes
I give away leftovers—they often taste better than the dinner itself!
Pumpkin pie is my breakfast.
Mix bits of turkey with stuffing and cover with mashed potatoes or roasted squash for turkey cottage pie.
Thanksgiving is my ultimate comfort food, so I take care to reheat everything.
Toasted rye bread, mayonnaise, turkey, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, stuffing and shredded iceberg lettuce
Stir it into apple crumble or put it in parfaits with fruit and fresh whipped cream.
Two days, then we go in a completely different direction with chicken parm or sesame noodles!
My chestnut stuffing
Keep. They barely even last between our moms and us.
Always! And with cranberry sauce.
I make breakfast hash out of sweet potatoes, red bell pepper, celery and seasoned salt.
I don’t do cold leftovers.
Turkey, gravy, dressing, cranberry sauce and maybe a schmear of sweet potatoes
Use it as a topping for pie or ice cream.
Months! I Cryovac and freeze perfect plates of turkey, sides, stuffing and cranberry sauce.
I always make an additional turkey breast.
Both! Once I was a guest at Bobby Flay’s house on Thanksgiving and to this day he laughs that I showed up with to-go containers.
Absolutely! Pumpkin pie and coffee is like a pumpkin spice latte.

I heat up my leftovers plate in the microwave.

I eat Thanksgiving leftovers for days and days.
Where I’m from, you overmake mac and cheese and greens, Southern staples.
I’m not sharing any of my leftovers, LOL!
Yes. It’s the holidays, live it up!
Put leftovers in muffin tins, then throw into the oven to warm.
Hot—I’m a classy man!
No sandwich for me. I eat my food like I did the day before.
Cranberry sauce is never at my Thanksgiving and never will be!
Only two days. After that, things dry up.
I make more gravy than any family could ever eat so we can douse leftovers with it.
I offer them but by the time everyone leaves, they’re full and never want to see food again!
Of course! With a fruit pie, you can tell yourself you’re getting a daily serving.
A panini with leftover cranberry sauce, stuffing, gravy and turkey
Piping hot—except the turkey, which makes a killer cold-cut sandwich
Add a couple slices of provolone or Swiss to melt everything together. Divine!
Mix with softened cream cheese and a little sugar or honey for a yummy fruit dip.
Until everything is 100 percent gone
My braised turkey wings—the gravy is delicious.
I keep enough food for one meal and everyone else leaves with whatever they want.
I love pie the morning after Thanksgiving. Who am I kidding, I could have pie every day!
The best leftovers hack is don’t have any!
Hot. In general, I don’t eat hot food cold.
There’s usually nothing left for a sandwich after we eat our second-day food!
Make a cocktail with leftover sauce for a hint of citrus and tartness.
One more time! We have an early dinner, so I eat my favorites again before going to bed.
All the carbohydrates!
I tell whoever’s coming to bring Tupperware.
Yes! Pie is basically a version of French toast, pancakes or waffles, right?
Before reheating stuffing, add a little water to hydrate it and cover to steam.
Hot! I’ll reheat gravy and put in turkey to let it baste.
Skip the sandwich, redo the Thanksgiving meal.
I don’t go overboard, so I don’t have leftover sauce—to me, it’s a condiment.
