that it’s important for travel advisors to understand that Nocturne, though,  is “not just an aggregator of villas. We have the direct relationship with the homeowner; we even property manage for many of them. We don’t have any intermediaries between us, and in most of our destinations we’re the only ones who represent those homes.
“We have our own team on the ground. Boots on the ground is important for us to ensure the luxury service. There isn’t really anyone else doing what we’re doing with multiple destinations in the luxury space.†He points out that because they’re so involved with each villa product, if something were to happen, travel advisors don’t have to worry about having to go through multiple hoops to get to the right contact. “You never have to worry about that,†says Wiseman. Additionally, he says, “We’ve really perfected the concierge services that can be experienced in the home.â€
Wiseman says that all of the homes come at a very high price point, which, he says, is something travel advisors will appreciate. Plus “it’s heavy repeat. We have 44 percent repeat rate on our guests, so travel advisors have a good shot of making it a very high-repeatable, high-commissioned product for them.â€
He says advisors need to be going after travelers who are in the high net worth category. “Over 25 percent of our clients are in that ultra-high net worth, where their net worth is over $13 million. Our average price point across all brands all year is about $2,500 a night, but some of our villas go up to $35,000 a night—per home, not person.â€
