There’s nothing like New York as the backdrop for a meeting, and the five-star Langham, New York, Fifth Avenue delivered an outstanding luxury experience for our attendees at Prevue’s Survival Strategies Summit Jan. 17-18.
Prevue’s mission was to provide attendees with insights and tools that will help them as they embark on what is sure to be a turbulent year. The speakers delivered on that promise, with John Cordier, CEO of Epistemix, revealing ways that modeling can be used in various risk management scenarios; Mike Dominguez, President and CEO of Associated Luxury Hotels International, painting his trademark broad stroke picture of the state of the economy and hotel business and then leading a panel discussion of industry experts (Jaclyn Bernstein, President & Owner, Empire Force Events; Victoria Batten, Regional Director of Sales & Marketing, North America, Langham Hotels and Resorts; and Anne Gorman, Vice President, Sales & Marketing, streamlinevents); and a session by New York Attorney Elaine D. Papas on how to contractually protect your organization against unforeseen circumstances.
Attendees enjoyed a creative new format for one-on-one appointments, interspersed with career coaching by Vimari Roman of Be Productive Coaching and the chance to create their own custom perfume scent with Robin Darrow of Scentrifugal Events. The Langham rolled out the red carpet for Prevue’s guests, while also including everyone’s favorite New York treats as part of the elegant meals and opening reception. (Who can visit New York without enjoying bagels with cream cheese and lox or cannolis?)
