Fresh off designing the California Craftsman-inspired “mouseterpiece” now serving as a take-home keepsake (featured in the fall Disney Files Magazine) for Members and guests staying at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa at Disneyland Resort, Disney Fine Artist and Member Cruise veteran Bret Iwan – known to many fans as the official voice of Mickey Mouse – looked across the Pacific for his next source of inspiration. His new piece, set to debut in early 2023 as an in-room souvenir at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, Ko Olina, Hawai‘i, finds Mickey and Minnie enjoying a perfect day in the resort’s picturesque Waikolohe Valley. Like his aforementioned creation for Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, the new artwork will magically appear as a ready-to-frame, 8 inch-by-10 inch souvenir in all Aulani accommodations, including its Disney Vacation Club Villas, while supplies last. See if you can spot the 7 details we altered in Bret’s picture-perfect piece.
