We’re only halfway through 2025, and it’s already been a big year for our magical community. Early this spring, we welcomed our first eligible* Members home to Disney Vacation Club McKim’s Mile House – A Member Lounge at Magic Kingdom Park. Creating a special space for Members to relax, recharge and reconnect in the heart of the world’s most visited theme park** has been a labor of love for all involved. The end result is a richly themed Frontierland space that reflects our culture of dreaming big, pushing creative boundaries and ensuring that every detail of our experience reflects the magic that only Disney can deliver. Member Lounges continue to be among the most popular Membership Extras, and with locations now open at EPCOT, Magic Kingdom Park and Disneyland Park, eligible Members have more places than ever to enjoy these expressions of Membership Magic.
In other Disney Vacation Club development news, you may have heard that, later in the spring, we opened Château de Voyage – A Disney Vacation Club Welcome Home Center in the Canada pavilion at EPCOT. Located just upstairs from the pavilion’s Northwest Mercantile shop, this new Welcome Home Center is designed to allow guests interested in learning more about the magic of Membership to do so without leaving the park. Its thoughtfully themed first floor, featuring spaces for conversations with our Sales Cast, is inspired by Canada’s Northern Railway, while its second floor houses a model room representing accommodations at the new Island Tower addition to Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. While the place is designed with guests in mind, we of course welcome Members in to see the model room and meet with our Sales Cast. Access is by appointment only, but appointments are easy to make. Just visit any Disney Vacation Club Discovery Desk in the park to secure an entry time. Or, if you happen to be near the château, a Cast Member at its entry podium can make an appointment for you.
