As you start to firm up your calendar for 2026, make sure to save the dates for SIGMA’s 2026 conferences!
In late April we will be at the Ritz Carlton Las Colinas in Irving, Texas – conveniently located outside of Dallas— for SIGMA’s 2026 Spring Conference. The resort’s amenities, pool, and golf course will provide a relaxing backdrop to the conference’s full slate of education and networking. Make sure to register early to reserve your room in the SIGMA hotel block. You don’t want to miss out!
In July, we ask you to join us in Washington, D.C. for our annual Summer Legislative Conference and Day on the Hill. This is a big one. Congress will be in its last big legislative push before fully concentrating on the 2026 midterm elections. There will be opportunities to advance SIGMA’s legislative priorities – and, equally important, to prevent bad policy being sneaked in under the wire. The best way to accomplish these goals is to meet with as many Members of Congress as possible. That means we need not just you, but your entire team to come. Full participation is particularly important if your company operates in multiple jurisdictions. There is simply no way for a single company representative to meet with all their delegations if they operate in several states. Round up your people and bring them with you. It does not matter if they have never participated in advocacy activities – SIGMA’s GR team will fully explain the issues, what SIGMA is asking for, and will provide you with all the materials needed for a successful experience. We know it’s hot in D.C. in July. We know you may have already participated in other associations’ fly-ins. We still need you to come in July. The legislative scenario likely will have changed since your previous visits and SIGMA will need to respond accordingly.
Then in November, SIGMA will be at the Diplomat in Hollywood, Florida for our 2026 Annual Conference. Plans are still in development for the Annual Conference, but we have some exciting education speakers on the line for you – look for more information in the coming weeks. The Diplomat is a beautiful oceanfront property and Florida will provide a welcome respite from autumn’s chilly weather!
