The most important aspect of keeping a handicap is posting scores. Texas golfers love the ability to post their own directly into their GHIN account through the GHIN Mobile App or ghin.com.
Here’s the important news: Starting in January 2021, unless we have your email address on your Golf Profile, you won’t be able to post scores to the GHIN Mobile App or ghin.com.
Between now and early January, all golfers are required to create a digital profile in GHIN to post scores. Don’t worry, it’s a simple process! All you need to do is have a unique email address added to your GHIN account.
The new requirement to have an email attached to your GHIN account is all about privacy. It will enable a more secure login system and easier access to your profile. The emails are not being collected for solicitation or marketing purposes. In fact, golfers can unsubscribe from any GHIN-related communications at any time.
Strengthening the authentication and privacy associated with each account will allow for further improvements to the GHIN Mobile App and ghin.com. This is the first step to enhancing your golf and GHIN experience.
This is the easy part. To add an email to your account, click here and fill out the web form. Once a unique email address is added, you will be able to post scores just as you have been.
We appreciate your attention to this matter. Enjoy the cooler weather while you’re out playing golf and don’t forget to post your scores!
