The Caley’s Annual Spring Bulb Show is an extravaganza not to be missed. Alongside all the amazing spring flowers on display, there will be a plant sale, talks and demonstrations, children’s activities, a tombola and raffle. Ray is a member of the Cox family of horticultural experts and authors who have run their world-famous business and garden in Perthshire for three generations. This talk offers a chance to learn more about Ray’s photographic ethos, and hear of wondrous ventures of his expansive photography career.

Home to some of the very first cultivars that were created from wild daffodils and every year, Backhouse Rossie holds the Scottish Daffodil Festival during flowering season. These beautiful little (and not so little) plants have a fantastic range of colours and forms – the display in the room is always impressive. If you don’t know much about these plants, why not come along and find out more? If you already grow Auricula or Primula, why not enter your plants in the show? Entry free of charge. Scotland’s only annual Orchid Show and Fair returns for its 25th year at the Glasgow Botanic Gardens, promising a botanical feast for the senses and a unique opportunity to buy these wonderful plants.

Horticulture and Garden Design students from SRUC Edinburgh have partnered up with the Gorebridge Community Development Trust to host this event, coinciding with the Gorebridge Community Garden annual garden party and plant sale, with the student show gardens being judged by the Lord Lieutenant of Midlothian.
Celebrate the best of Scottish gardening where our country's top plant nurseries, garden centres, and societies, will gather on the main lawns under the backdrop of the historic Scone Palace - the Crowning Place of the Scottish Kings. Alongside all the fabulous florals, will be some marvellous Makers featuring garden related crafts, and outdoor furniture specialists.
If you would like to learn more about a career in horticulture, there will be a chance to speak with representatives from the horticultural colleges, whilst the garden presenters from BBC gardening programme 'Beechgrove' will be around on both days to answer your gardening questions.
Access to the vast gardens and grounds surrounding Scone Palace is included in the price so take the chance to go for a woodland walk and visit the giant conifers in the Victorian Pinetum, tour the Kitchen Garden, enjoy the recently opened Walled Garden, or get lost in the Murray Star Maze.

The Cacti & Succulent Show will be held in conjunction with BCSS Edinburgh Branch (British Cacti & Succulent Society) and will be a judged show with a number of categories that can be entered. Entry free of charge. More information can be found here.
