The 455-yard, par-4 10th hole at Echo Lake offers a challenging start to an even more challenging back nine. Off the tee, players must contend with a bunker on the lefthand side of the fairway and overhanging trees on the right. Any errant tee shot will lead to a difficult approach that will have to navigate a new cross bunker and newly expanded bunker short and right of the green. The green itself slopes from front right to back left, making any front hole location difficult to get close to as the ball wants to funnel to the middle of the green. The most interesting hole location is the back-left location. It gives the player the opportunity to hit it close. However, any shot that misses the green short, long, or left leaves a challenging up-and-down.
