Since our last update, Megan Shenton got married in January 2025, and she and her partner have been settling into their new place in Del Ray, Virginia.
Danielle Sirk Rogers also got married since our last update — on March 2, 2024, to Samuel Rogers.
Chels Watkins has been busy since graduation! They moved to the Bay Area, California, in 2013, graduated from Northwestern University with an M.S. in Learning and Organizational Change in 2022, and got married to their wife, Carmen, in March 2022. They had a baby named Finn in April 2024, and Chels is now working as an organizational designer at Udemy.
We have welcomed some more future Green Terrors within the last year or so! Stephanie “Stef” Thomson Waters and her husband, Randy, welcomed their sweet little girl, Jordan, on Aug. 13, 2024. Lauren Strumsky McCourt and her husband, Ryan, welcomed daughter, Sloane Margaret, on March 4, 2025, and became a family of four! Lauren is currently a high school health and physical education teacher at Camp Hill School District. She resides in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, with her husband, daughter, and son, Rory.
Emily Hannah Davis earned an M.A. in Teaching at San Diego State University in May 2024.
Lauren Miller graduated with an M.S. in Library Science from Clarion University in 2017! Lauren is so excited to share that she is an employee ambassador for Penguin Random House, which means she gets to talk about her awesome job and all their fabulous publications all over social media. You can find her posts under the handle @forfictionsake on most major platforms! She is also currently working on her business degree with a concentration in marketing through a program sponsored by Penguin Random House.
Jessica Fry accepted a position as the staff museum curator of the Midwest Regional Office of the National Park Service in December 2023 and now lives in Omaha, Nebraska, with her two cats. The job regularly has her traveling across the Midwest.
Steve French, M.S. ’14 and Sara Krome French, M.S. ’15, are enjoying raising their kids, Henry, 7, and Charlotte, 4, along with two goldendoodles! Steve is in his 11th year of teaching health at Taneytown Elementary School and coaching boys tennis at Francis Scott Key High School. Sara is on a break from teaching to be home with the kids, but she is enjoying subbing twice a week at her son’s school.
Mitch Belella and Carissa Grove Belella have both accepted promotions since they last checked in. Mitch was promoted to vice president of Wealth Enhancement Group located in Hagerstown, Maryland, and Carissa was promoted at the Department of Veterans Affairs as a training specialist. They live in Hagerstown with their four children.
Even though it’s where Paul Donoghue ’11 grew up, we don’t get to Hagerstown, Maryland, as often as we’d like. But it was lovely to see Mitch and Carissa when they visited Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, in fall 2024! Paul is still senior manager for enrollment operations at Western Governors University and a part-time trainer at Prime Intensity Training. I accepted a promotion in September 2024 as a senior specialist technical consultant in the Mobility Center of Excellence with AT&T. We are still living in “Conshy” with our dogs, Ted and Rocky, and we love walking along the Schuylkill River Trail, to the library, and to all our favorite restaurants in town.
