ROSEN Group’s Shareholders Committee appointed Andreas Opfermann as chief executive officer. He succeeds Interim CEO Erik Cornelissen will transition into the new role of chief customer officer (CCO). Opfermann brings 18 years of executive leadership experience in the industrial gas and adjacent sectors at Linde Group, where he has served as executive vice president Americas, and EVP Global Clean Energy, CEO of AGA AB and CTO. He holds a PhD in physics from Cambridge and will be based in Stans, Switzerland.
Seismic data acquisition and marine geophysical services company PXGEO appointed Hans-Peter Burlid to the newly created position of chief strategy and transformation officer (CS&TO). Burlid, currently the organization’s CCO, will drive long-term strategic direction to deliver sustainable growth and lasting competitive advantage. He has been with the company since it began in 2021.
Hess Midstream announced changes to its leadership team and board of directors following Chevron Corporation’s completion of its merger with Hess Corporation. Chevron has appointed three of its executives to the Hess Midstream board. They are Andy Walz, president of Chevron Downstream, Midstream & Chemicals, who will serve as chairman. Joining Walz are Kristen Ghattas and Kristi McCarthy. Gerbert Schoonman will remain on the board. Departing from the board are John B. Hess, Gregory P. Hill and John P. Rielly.
Jesus Soto, Jr. jointed CenterPoint Energy as executive vice president and chief operating officer. He will oversee the company’s Electric Operations, Gas Operations, Safety, Supply Chain and Customer Care functions, across all the states that CenterPoint serves.
Alfa Laval appointed Martijn Bergink as president of the Marine Division, effective Sept. 1. This is in addition to his current roles as president of Business Unit Pumping Systems in the Marine Division and managing director of Framo, an Alfa Laval-owned company.

Energy solutions business OEG secured a significant multi-year helifuel services contract with a major U.K. operator. OEG will manage the company’s offshore systems in the North Sea and provide helifuel tanks on a serviced rental basis. Additionally, OEG will offer helideck crew refueling training at the company’s new helifuel training academy located at its Portlethen facility in Aberdeenshire. P&GJ
