L.A.B. Golf’s VZN.1i putter combines Lie Angle Balance technology with alignment through geometry, with a head specifically designed to show where the face is pointed and intentionally positioned to help lock in on the target line.
The hexagonal head shape and system of parallel and perpendicular crown lines help promote accurate aim to make more putts, the company says. Featuring a traditional, full-sized mallet profile, VZN.1i (available in 0- and 1.5-degree shaft lean variations) has a stainless-steel face insert with deeper and wider milling than existing L.A.B. models.
“VZN.1i was approached formulaically by combining everything we’ve learned from the success of previous L.A.B. Golf models into a familiar mallet shape that’s easy on the eyes and even easier to putt with,” said Cameron Day, L.A.B. Golf’s senior VP of product. “Every L.A.B. putter is engineered to roll the ball on its intended line through Lie Angle Balance technology. With VZN.1i, we took things a step further by simplifying another critical aspect of putting: alignment.”
The VZN.1i putter ($499) also offers dual pickup methods including a “gimme getter” and a scoop option. Custom versions ($599) allow golfers to select from among eight colors and choose their preferred shaft, putting style, shaft lean, shaft length, lie angle, alignment markings, head weight and grip.
