I’ve once again read Global Golf Post feeling angry and frustrated (“Phil Steam Ahead,” April 8 GGP).
Nelly Korda is arguably the best player on the planet at this moment, with the possible exception of Scottie Scheffler. She has just won her last four starts, including last week’s grueling Match Play (“Korda sweeps Match Play for 4th in a row,” April 8 GGP). And yet, the cover goes to Phil Mickelson, and the first acknowledgement of Korda’s achievements falls on the 31st page of the issue (“Korda’s ‘uncanny ability’ rates among LPGA royalty,” April 8 GGP), behind the NCAA, photos of LIV players, Akshay Bhatia, the Georgia Cup, amateur golf coverage, Range Rat, letters from readers, gear articles, multiple ads, LIV Golf results, etc., etc.
If what Korda has accomplished so far this season doesn’t deserve a cover photo and an upfront article, I don’t know what she would have to do.
Your LPGA coverage is consistently relegated to the back pages, and I doubt if many readers even get that far into the publication. You could do a great service to women’s golf, and more credibility to your publication, if you were to give the great events and great accomplishments in the women’s game the attention they deserve.
I’m very disappointed in you, and I’m sure I’m not alone.

I have seen several comments that say Phil Mickelson was right in his move because it has caused the PGA Tour to make changes that have provided more money to the players (“It’s Your Honor,” April 8 GGP).
I disagree, in that I believe those changes have only moved the tour away from its positive distinguishing characteristic (paid for personal performance, donations to support institutions growing the game as well as local and special causes) and closer to the other major professional sports where money is the topic of the day, every day.
TV viewing is down; that is not a good thing. I have never watched one minute of LIV Golf, and don't plan to. I watch much less of the tour events. Talk is not about the great golf being played or the wonderful impact on people's lives from the support provided. It is now about who is going to get more money, and as always, me or my group isn't getting enough.
Necessary changes and improvements could have been done much more constructively without greed being the focal point of the change. This is not good for the game, short or long term.

The NBC broadcasts are becoming unbearable to watch with the sound on. The constant drone of what sounds like light aircraft overhead is a dominant sound. Maybe it’s the blimps or drones?
Noise cancellation needs to be introduced or subtitles for the commentators so the viewer can at least watch the golf with the sound muted.
