Donald also took the Ryder Cup to a school in Limerick, Ireland, as part of his visit. Donald and his wife, Diane, visited Our Lady’s Abbey Primary School, where students from that school were joined by children from three other schools. Donald hosted a session for 20 children aged 9 to 12 years old that included putting and chipping challenges. READ MORE
CBS Sports launched a new live golf show on its affiliated platforms following its Saturday and Sunday broadcasts of the RBC Heritage. The show, “Scorecard,” airs on the CBS Sports HQ and Paramount+ streaming services as well as the CBS Golf YouTube channel. It features studio hosts Joe Musso and Shane Bacon along with on-site analysts Trevor Immelman and Johnson Wagner, and will subsequently air following CBS’ three remaining PGA Tour signature events, the PGA Championship and three FedEx Cup playoff events. Doug Steffen, the longtime Baltusrol Golf Club director of golf, died April 2 following a battle with Parkinson’s disease and Lewy body dementia. He was 76. Steffen served at Baltusrol for two decades before retiring in 2016. READ MORE
