Scotty Cameron came out swinging in 2025 with the introduction of the 12-model Studio Style line as well as the addition of five new configurations to the Phantom mallet putter lineup.
The 2025 Studio Style lineup includes new additions, ground-up redesigns of prior models and updated classics. A new Studio Carbon Steel insert along with chain-link face milling produces softer feel and sound. A new nickel-plating process enhances durability and prevents the corrosion historically associated with carbon steel putters. Encased around the perimeter of the insert is a second damping compound, promoting a solid feel.
“It has a greater damping capacity than Teryllium, stainless steel and aluminum,” said Austie Rollinson, senior director of putter R&D, said of the carbon-steel insert. “By adding a milled texture – called chain-link face milling – to further soften the sound at impact, we are introducing a next-generation blade and mid-mallet putter family with new technology and methods of alignment, all designed to maximize feel and enhance performance.”
The Studio Style models ($499 and available March 14) include: Newport, Newport Plus, Newport 2, Newport 2 Plus, Newport 2.5 Plus and Catalina blades as well as mid-mallet Squareback, Squareback 2, Fastback and Fastback 1.5.
The Squareback 2 and Fastback offer long design models ($549) while left-handed options will be available for the Newport 2, Newport 2.5 Plus, Fastback 1.5 and Catalina models.
The Phantom mallet family welcomes the tour-inspired Phantom 5.2 and 7.2 models ($449), featuring the wingback Phantom 5 and Phantom 7 mallet head shapes and crafted with an I-beam-style plumbing neck. Additionally, the Phantom 5, 11 and 11 Long Design ($499) models will offer left-handed setups for the first time.
“The combination of the plumbing neck and our Phantom mallet shapes has become increasingly popular on tour,” said Rollinson. “It’s a great setup for players coming from a blade into a mallet, or really for any golfer looking for blade-like feel and alignment with the benefits of a larger head.”
