I always enjoy the column by John Hopkins and his words of wisdom (“Arbiter holds key for LIV, DP World tours,” February 6 GGP).
Competition is a good thing, so why not set up matches like the one in Dubai where LIV and the DP World Tour compete and let the best player win?
If “Europe” starts excluding LIV players from Europe, then should we call the Ryder Cup as PGA Tour vs. DP World Tour Cup?
All tours and leagues need to be creative to come up with a solution that gives our great sport of golf an opportunity to grow, instead of protecting their territories.
The R&A, USGA and Augusta National in this case have really taken the high road and want the game to grow. The PGA Tour, PGA of America, DP World Tour and LIV are acting like children fighting for a candy. It’s very discouraging.

If LIV wins this arbitration, it will mark the end of the DP World Tour and greatly enhance the LIV experiment (“Arbiter holds key for LIV, DP World tours,” February 6 GGP).
The PGA Tour will have to end its affiliation with DP World Tour as the tour will be aiding LIV if it stays in that affiliation. If LIV loses, it could be the beginning of the end for them.
One can only hope for LIV to lose. They are a joke.
