The Aloha Section PGA has scheduled their spring Pau Hana meetings. Pau Hana is a Hawaiian term for “end of work or finished working”.
In Hawaiian culture, it is customary to gather with friends and family after a hard day’s work to strengthen relationships. This custom has been a useful tool to bring together our members for discussions on PGA matters as well as other golfing related subjects.
It is our mission to spread the Aloha Spirit through constant closeness with the membership. This closeness is vital for working together to accomplish our goals. It has been very successful for many years and is an important part of the ASPGA’s existence.
The Pau Hana meetings are scheduled on each of the major islands and will be conducted by Executive Director, Wes Wailehua. Members will be informed of recent events and are invited to an open discussion. These informal gatherings prove to be a lot more productive than the traditional, formal meetings.
The Pau Hana schedule is as follows:
Big Island- March 25, 2026 Hualalai Resort
Oahu - March 30, 2026
Pearl at Kalauao
Maui - April 14, 2026
Maui Nui Golf Course
Kauai- TBD
The ASPGA Board of Directors would like to thank Hualalai’s Director of Golf Brendan Moynahan, Eddie Lee of Maui Nui Golf Course, Pearl Country Club’s Director of Golf Ed Kageyama, and Steve Murphy of the North Shore Preserve on Kauai for serving as gracious hosts for the Islands Pau Hana Meetings.
