The 2022-2023 Junior Tour of Northern California season ended with the JTNC Tour Championship at Poppy Hills in late July.
In the Boys’ Championship flight, Cambron Nevill picked up his second win of the season, coming in at 1-under 141 in the two-day event. For Nevill, it was a birdie on the 36th hole that was the difference maker.
Luke Brandler, the co-leader entering the second round, slipped and had a bogey on the 18th, opening the door for Nevill.
Brandler would finish second following a card-off victory over Griffin Chiu after both came in at 142.
In the Girls’ Championship flight, Sarah Lim of Saratoga finished the season with her first win, carding rounds of 74-72 to come in at 4-over 146.
Cathy Zhang was second, coming in at 9-over 151. Diya Kumar was third at 155.
In the Boys’ First Flight Championship, Oscar Seem had consecutive rounds of 75 to win with a score of 150. The Girls’ First Flight winner was Isabelle Duan at 151.
