To make things easier for all, we again will not open registration for all events at the same time. Instead, there will be Registration Windows that correlate to specific sections of the season:
Registration for events held February-May opens January 12
Registration for events held June-August opens April 13
Registration for events held September-December opens July 13
First held in 1967, the NCGA Zone Championship is a four-person team event for Regular Clubs. Fourteen regional championships are staged at Del Monte GC and Poppy Hills—scores are based on the two best net scores of the four-person team with the champion and runner-up of each regional final qualifying for the penultimate championship, to be held Aug. 24-25 at Bayonet/Black Horse GC.
Players in Zone events must be ages 18-over and have a Handicap Index no higher than 54.0.

NCGA Associate Club events are tournaments that are open to only Associate Clubs. Keep in mind that to reach the championship proper, teams need to advance through qualifying events. A total of 24 teams will advance to the finals. Contact your club ambassador on how you can represent your club in these great events!
There are currently three Associate Club events:
Associate Club Four-Ball Net Championship (May 4-5 at Poppy Hills)
Associate Club Championship (Aug. 24-25 at Bayonet/Black Horse GC)
Senior Four-Ball Net Championship (Aug. 31-Sept.1 at Poppy Hills)
Players in Associate Club events must be ages 18-over and have a Handicap Index no higher than 54.0.
Confused as to what Net events are? Here’s the scoop. There are two types of events the NCGA runs—Scratch and Net. Scratch event results are based solely on the players’ original score (no Handicap Index adjustments). Net events, meanwhile, do feature scoring adjustments according to a players’ Handicap Index. In any event that is listed as a Net event, a player’s net score is equal to the gross score minus their playing Handicap Index. In a nutshell, Net events are open to players of abilities, regardless of their Handicap Index. So there’s nothing stopping you from competing and having fun! Net events are always specified as such on the NCGA tournament calendar.
For NCGA Championships that are Net Events, the following requirements apply:
Women's Net Amateur | Ages 18-over | No Handicap Index Limit
Four-Ball Net | Ages 18-over | Handicap Index of 54.0 or less
Senior Net | Ages 55-over | No Handicap Index Limit
Public Links Net | Open All Ages | No Handicap Index Limit
Net Amateur | Ages 8-over | Handicap Index of 54.0 or less
Women’s Four-Ball | Open All Ages | No Handicap Index Limit
Scramble | Open All Ages | No Handicap Index Limit
