The Fountaingrove Club of Santa Rosa captured its first NCGA Team Match title in October.
Fountaingrove, winners of the Thursday League title, defeated runner-up Blackhawk CC in the overall finals by scoring 19 points.
In Team Match, each foursome is worth a total of six points—match play and match play (individuals) plus Four-Ball match play. Wins are worth two points, a tie is worth one point.
The Fountaingrove squad featured Kekoa Morgan, Jim Fisher, Tony Coscia, Matt Etchell, Todd Ueckert, Matt Kreling, Kanoa Rosado, Tim Parsons, Mike Yee, Arthur Hoffmann, Johnnie Walker and captain Miguel Bunting.
"It's awesome. Great group of guys and we love our club," Bunting said. "I want to thank all of the guys. It was all teamwork. We appreciate all of them."
Wilcox Oaks GC took the title in the Consolation match, securing the title with 21 points to defeat Sunnyside CC.
The Team Match Program is a competition between players that belong to regular NCGA member clubs.
