These seasons always seem to change so quickly. But as they say, change is the one constant that is unavoidable. With every new season there are new opportunities. Beach time, fishing trips, camping, hiking, BBQs with friends and family. This is one of my favorite times of the year. If you follow me on social media, you know how I like to cook on an open fire. In this issue, I had BBQ’d a rabbit on my firepit. I did have a little cooking advice from my friend Scott Leysath, the host of Dead Meat that airs on the Outdoor Channel. If you flip to the Cooking Corner section of the magazine, you can see how the rabbit turned out.
As we are gearing up for the change in seasons, so is our feature story about Hal Shaffer. Hal has been a staple in the outdoor industry for more than a decade with his highly acclaimed television show, Drop Zone TV. This season, Hal introduces his audience to his new show, Renovation Hunters. Hal and his partners find run-down hunting or fishing camps and do a complete renovation of the property. Thus, keeping the outdoor lineage alive for the families involved.
We look forward to what lies ahead of us and we welcome the opportunities that have yet to come. We would like to thank all of you for following us on our adventures. We appreciate you allowing us to share these stories with you. If you would please share our experiences with your friends and family we would be obliged.
Thank you again for following along Because American Outdoor News is “Where Your Adventure Begins”
Sincerely,
