In the Fall Edition of American Outdoor News, I called upon one of my longtime friends and hunting buddy Matt Collins from MC’s Kitchen & Outdoors to host our “Cooking Corner”. I met Matt many years ago when he first became a member of Whitetail Hunting Club. We soon discovered what a hidden talent he was. He really was a very talented chef. Over the years, Matt has served up some amazing wild game dinners at camp and our table was always bountiful. Friends would always arrive at camp with some type of wild game that we either tagged out at the club or one of our other hunts throughout the year. Whether it was venison, bear, turkey or wild hog, Matt always had a recipe for it. Our hunting club has since been disbanded due to the loss of our land lease but I will always have the great memories of the endless hours of laughter and harmless ribbing shared by all of our friend as we sat around the table swapping lies and enjoying an incredible meal that was usually prepared by Matt. This video will only give you a small glimpse of Matts talent but I hope that we will be posting a lot more in future editions in the Cooking Corner of American Outdoor News.
