The Superintendent, Corrosion Control directs and manages of Ameren Illinois’ corrosion control programs. The position is responsible for the supervision, safety, training, recruitment and appraisal of corrosion control supervisors, technicians, specialists and clerical employees.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred. NACE CP II certification is required. NACE CP III or CP IV certification is preferred. Ten or more years of corrosion control experience required, including experience in distribution, transmission and storage field cathodic protection. Four or more years of supervisory or team/project leadership required.
