This position provides technical support for development, operation, and maintenance of underground natural gas storage reservoirs. Job responsibilities include: monitoring operating performance, maintaining records, project management, developing procedures, business planning, performing studies, and regulatory compliance.
Manages gas storage projects including preparing/performing: business cases, investment authorization requests, project schedules, contractor work scopes, bid evaluations, material specifications, material orders, invoice approvals, contractor field management, and project cost control.
Maintains accurate gas storage asset information including: geological data, gas well data, operating/maintenance data and reservoir performance data.
Bachelor’s degree in either geology, petroleum engineering, or an alternate combination of education and experience resulting in equivalent job knowledge. Five or more years of gas storage work or related experience. A valid drivers’ license and ability to work in field environment is required to perform this job.
