Halle Bailey was granted temporary sole legal and physical custody of her 17-month-old son Halo after she alleged that the child’s father, ex-boyfriend Darryl Dwayne “DDG” Granberry Jr., was physically, verbally and emotionally abusive. The Little Mermaid star, 25, alleged in a court declaration on May 13 that there were “numerous incidents” of abuse by the rapper and social media personality, 27, both during their two-year relationship and after it ended in 2024. Bailey was also granted a temporary restraining order against her ex. DDG hadn’t commented at press time; a court date is set for June 4. —RACHEL DESANTIS
Motocross racer Carey Hart suffered a severe injury during practice on May 15. Two days later he shared the news on Instagram and apologized to his wife, Pink. Hart, 49, posted a mirror selfie showing bandages across his torso (inset)—along with another image revealing more than 20 staples—and explained that he “severed my small intestine from my colon” after a jump landing went wrong. He praised Pink, 45, for her support, writing, “As [she] always does in these situations w/ me, she steps up and takes charge… Sorry to put you through this, yet again.” Hart also thanked their children Willow, 13, and Jameson, 8. —LIZZIE HYMAN
