f or years, Molly Yeh hosted her big Hanukkah celebration on the first night of the holiday. Then the Girl Meets Farm host had two kids and “thank goodness there are eight whole days to procrastinate!” she says. Whatever night she decides is the big one, Molly makes latkes. Bernie, 4, helps by washing potatoes, and Ira, 21 months, excels at cleaning her plate. “Ira will probably eat the most latkes of us all—she’s a tank,” Molly says. To get extra-crispy potatoes, she fries in cast iron and avoids crowding the pan. And to keep the menu interesting, she mixes up the flavors and toppings. Her garlic-and-onion latkes are a nod to French onion dip—“the sign of a good party!” Molly says. —Kelsey Hurwitz
