At Berkshire Gas Company, Franklyn D. Reynolds has been named as president, the 11th since the company’s founding in 1853. Reynolds, who is also vice president of gas integration for Avangrid Networks, will replace Karen Zink, who is retiring after 37 years with the Pittsfield, Massachusetts-based natural gas utility.
At Elkton Gas and Elizabethtown Gas, Christie McMullen has been appointed president and chief operations officer for both companies. She was formerly vice president of gas distribution at Baltimore Gas and Electric and has more than 30 years of experience in utility operations.
At PG&E Corporation, James Mesterharm, a managing director at consulting firm AlixPartners LLP, has been hired as chief restructuring officer to assist the utility through its Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceeding.
Stuart Black has retired as vice president and controller at Public Service Enterprise Group. Assuming his role is Rose Chernick, former vice president of finance, corporate strategy and planning. Scott Jennings, vice president of finance for Public Service Electric and Gas Company, was promoted to succeed Chernick.
South Jersey Industries Inc. has appointed Cielo Hernandez to the role of senior vice president and chief financial officer.
At UGI Corp., Ann Kelly is now chief financial officer and vice president – finance of AmeriGas. Ted Jastrzebski remains chief financial officer of UGI.
The board of directors at WEC Energy Group has established an Office of the Chair to provide leadership for the next chapter of the company’s growth, development and service to customers. Gale Klappa, currently chairman and CEO, will serve as executive chairman; Kevin Fletcher has been promoted to president and CEO; Scott Lauber has been promoted to senior executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer; and Rick Kuester will continue to serve as senior executive vice president, with broad responsibility for the company’s capital investment plan, information technology and power generation.
