David Mead is a leadership and workplace culture expert and an igniter at Simon Sinek, Inc. Mead has also taken his years of practical experience to co-author, with Simon Sinek and Peter Docker, Find Your Why: A Practical Guide for Discovering Purpose for You and Your Team, a step-by-step guide on how to discover your purpose (September 2017). David is globally recognized as the “how†guy to Simon’s “why.†Mead is committed to a world in which the vast majority of people wake up inspired to go to work, feel safe while they're there, and go home at the end of the day fulfilled by the work they do.
Marcia Chatelain is a scholar, author, speaker, and strategist based in Washington, D.C., where she teaches courses in African American life and culture at Georgetown University. Chatelain’s latest book, Franchise: The Golden Arches in Black America, examines the intersection of the post-1968 civil rights struggle and the rise of the fast food industry. Throughout her career, Chatelain has been recognized for numerous teaching awards, and in 2016 The Chronicle of Higher Education named her a Top Influencer in Higher Education in recognition of the curation of #FergusonSyllabus, a response to the crisis in Ferguson, Missouri, in 2014.
