Orlando, once again Cvent’s top meeting destination in the country, continues to evolve as a meetings destination with the anticipated debut of a next-level theme park, new accommodations and entertainment venues, and more Michelin dining options. And with hotel and venue expansions on the horizon, the destination is brimming with possibilities for planners to include on their agenda in 2025 and beyond.

Universal Orlando Resort’s highly anticipated fourth theme park, Universal Epic Universe, will debut May 22 and feature over 50 attractions, entertainment, dining and shopping experiences across five immersive worlds. It will also feature a dedicated park entrance from the new Universal Helios Grand Hotel, a Loews Hotel which offers 4,648 sq. ft. of versatile space. Also joining the Universal Orlando hotels portfolio in 2025 are the Universal Stella Nova Resort and Universal Terra Luna resorts.
The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin is commencing on the largest renovation and expansion in the property’s history, highlighted by the addition of 120,000 square feet of event space to its current meeting and convention floorplan. The project will also include modernized upgrades to existing meeting spaces and Swan guest rooms, and technology enhancements throughout the property.
The 2024 edition of the MICHELIN Guide Miami, Orlando and Tampa recognized 7 starred, 11 Bib Gourmand and 30 Recommended restaurants which includes four new Michelin Starred restaurants adding to the growing list of Orlando’s one-starred venues.
Live! at The Pointe Orlando is a new 73,000-square-foot immersive indoor and outdoor dining and entertainment destination at Pointe Orlando. Anchored by several restaurants including Sports & Social, a PBR Cowboy Bar, Shark Bar, and the Houndsmen English Lounge, the area also includes Live! Plaza, a 37,000 sq. ft. space for special events.
The Orange County Convention Center continues to move forward with enhancements to the North-South Building which will include an additional 60,000 square feet of meeting space and a 100,000-square-foot ballroom, along with a new entry to the North-South Building along Convention Way.
