The iconic Las Vegas Strip is known for neon lights, world-renowned entertainment, and always changing up what’s on offer. Caesars Entertainment is staying true to its Las Vegas roots by debuting a revamped resort, welcoming incredible new musical acts and more celebrity chef restaurants as well as engaging in a fiery Formula 1 partnership.
The resort formerly known as Bally’s Las Vegas finalized its transformation into Horseshoe Las Vegas at the tail end of this past December. The rebranding is going beyond just a simple name swap with extensive interior changes such as new carpeting, wallpaper, paint, millwork, and more to incorporate the new earth tone color palette and Horseshoe branding. The resort’s entertainment options are also being enhanced as part of the rebrand with the introduction of The ARCADE – a 7,000-square-foot multi-sensory experience featuring games ranging from classics like Skee-Ball and air hockey to virtual reality adventures like “King Kong”.
An integral part of the resort’s rebrand comes with the inclusion of Jack Binion’s Steak. The namesake restaurant of Las Vegas icon and gaming legend Jack Binion, the steakhouse has been a staple of Horseshoe properties across the country and has won awards time and time again at the regional and national levels. The menu includes steaks selected from Black Angus corn-fed cattle that are aged for 28 days as well as Oysters Rockefeller, the Bloody Mary Shaken & Stirred Wedge Salad, and the guest-favorite Banana Cream Pie which is still made with the original Bally’s Steakhouse recipe.
Best-in-class food is a key aspect to the Las Vegas experience and additional celebrity restaurants have debuted across The Strip. At Harrah’s, acclaimed chef and television personality Gordon Ramsey has expanded his culinary empire with Ramsey’s Kitchen at Harrah’s. Inspired by his worldwide travels, the menu includes original takes on classic dishes such as the Tuna Tartare made with chili garlic soy, sour cream, avocado and wonton crisps or the Beef Carpaccio with horseradish panna cotta, cured egg yolk, artichoke chips and English mustard sauce. James Beard Award-winning pastry chef Dominique Ansel is also making his mark in Las Vegas with the eponymous Dominique Ansel Las Vegas at Caesars Palace. While his most well-known creation, the Cronut®, takes center stage, the menu is replete with other Chef Ansel signature creations such as Cookie Shots, Frozen S’mores and baked-to-order Mini Madeleines as well as the Las Vegas exclusive ‘Lucky 7’ pastry collection.
Further renovations along The Strip are taking place at Caesars Palace. The property has undergone a multimillion-dollar project to update of its original main entrance, casino dome, porte-cochère, and hotel lobby. Grandeur is the name of the game as guests enter through the new entrance to be greeted by a 15-foot-tall Carrara marble statue of Augustus Caesar set under a raised ceiling decorated with hand-painted illustrations of Roman gods and a spectacular chandelier containing 70,000 crystals. Additionally, the lobby area is now home to Galleria Bar which features an array of signature cocktails and life-sized sculptures of the Roman goddess Venus.
At Caesars Entertainment’s Las Vegas theaters, a veritable country music takeover has occurred with stars like Miranda Lambert and four-time Grammy Award winner Keith Urban announcing headlining residencies at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in 2023. The Colosseum at Caesars Palace will also be getting in on the country action this year with Garth Brooks whose new residency, “Garth Brooks/Plus ONE”, promises no two shows will be the same.
Caesars Entertainment’s – and Las Vegas in general’s – boldest upcoming undertaking though is the FORMULA 1 HEINEKEN® SILVER LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX set to take place this November. As a founding partner of the inaugural Las Vegas race, Caesars Palace played host to the events launch party this past November. As part of the event, fans descended on the property to watch demo runs, take part in the Formula 1 Pit Stop Challenge, enjoy F1 Esports simulators, and attend exclusive afterparties. Ahead of all the engine-roaring action, Caesars Entertainment has begun providing access to a range of ticket and room packages for fans to secure their spot.
• With seven properties located within the track footprint, Caesars Entertainment offers unparalleled race access and amenities to Formula 1 fans making their way to The Strip for the first Las Vegas Grand Prix.
• Ahead of the event, Caesars is offering guests the opportunity to create their own event package by pairing two tickets in specified zones with their preferred property and room type.
