The schedule of announced Major Championships at PGA Frisco continues with the playing of the 2025 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, set to take place from June 16-22. This event follows the 2023 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship, where Steve Stricker claimed victory in a playoff against Padraig Harrington. Looking ahead to 2027, the course will welcome the PGA Championship, bringing a men’s Major Championship back to the DFW area for the first time in more than six decades.
Founded in 1955, the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship is a Major Championship collaboration between the PGA of America, the LPGA, and KPMG. Broadcast in partnership with NBC and Golf Channel, the Championship offers a purse among the highest in women’s golf.
Anticipated to be one of the season's strongest fields, the expected lineup will feature many of the world’s best golfers. Among them are world number-one and former KPMG Women’s PGA Champion Nelly Korda, reigning Olympic Gold Medalist Lydia Ko, Charley Hull, Rose Zhang, and defending Champion Amy Yang, along with numerous other talented players.
Attending a Major Championship at PGA Frisco offers an experience that goes beyond the golf course action. Championship attendees will have exclusive access to the PGA District, which boasts numerous retail and entertainment outlets. Additionally, visitors can enjoy The Dance Floor, a sprawling 70,000 square foot putting green within the PGA District, and the Ronny Golf Park at the Northern Texas PGA Section, providing a unique golf experience during their visit.
Attendees traveling in for the event have the opportunity to book a room and stay on-site, at the Omni PGA Frisco Resort. Featuring subtle nods to Texas culture, each of the resort's 500 guest rooms and suites offers the ideal retreat to relax and enjoy open views of the lush surroundings.
A limited number of tickets to the 2025 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship remain available, and can be purchased online at kpmgwomenspga.com. In support of the PGA of America’s mission of growing the game, each ticketed adult can bring up to four juniors (15 years of age and younger) in for free.
Additionally, a limited number of volunteer positions for the 2025 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship are available. Be among the 1200+ Volunteers that make the Championship possible by registering at kpmgwomenspgavolunteers.com. Volunteers who complete all their scheduled shifts will have the first opportunity to register as a Volunteer for 2027 PGA Championship held at PGA Frisco.
Golf enthusiasts seeking an enhanced experience should explore Club PGA. Situated with a view over the Championship's 18th green, Club PGA provides guests with access to food and beverages in a climate-controlled setting, complete with bar access.
