One of the hottest young professionals in the game today, Plano’s Will Zalatoris broke through for his first major amateur victory in 2014 with a three-shot win at the 105th Texas Amateur. Fast forward to a couple weeks ago, and he almost won the Masters in his first-ever appearance at Augusta National.Zalatoris had been winning golf tournaments for years before his exploits at Brook Hollow Golf Club, however, and he’s been hoisting trophies ever since, too.Now a rising star on the PGA Tour, he’s scored 11 top-25 finishes in 15 starts this season. He has six top-10s, including the magical second-place finish at the Masters and a T6 at the 2020 U.S. Open.
