O
ne of the hottest young professionals in the game today, Plano’s Will Zalatoris broke through for his first major amateur victory in 2014 with a three-shot win at the 105th Texas Amateur. Fast forward to a couple weeks ago, and he almost won the Masters in his first-ever appearance at Augusta National.
Zalatoris had been winning golf tournaments for years before his exploits at Brook Hollow Golf Club, however, and he’s been hoisting trophies ever since, too.
Now a rising star on the PGA Tour, he’s scored 11 top-25 finishes in 15 starts this season. He has six top-10s, including the magical second-place finish at the Masters and a T6 at the 2020 U.S. Open.
As he showed the world in early April, it won’t be long before he wins – and wins a lot – on the PGA Tour.
