Aimed at students, early-career professionals, and anyone looking to enter the world of horticulture, this inspiring day is packed with opportunities to connect directly with industry leaders, discover exciting career paths, and hear from a stellar line-up of guest speakers.
This year’s keynote speakers include:
Professor Mike Hardman, University of Salford
James Simpson, Managing Director, Adrian Scripps Ltd., one of the UK’s leading fruit growers
Pippa Greenwood, renowned plant pathologist and broadcaster
Tom Stuart-Smith, celebrated garden designer
Also on the programme is a series of mini-presentations from early-career horticulturists, sharing their own journeys into the industry and hopes for the future.
Now in its eighth year, the event continues to grow, often booking out in days. In 2024, over 240 attendees travelled from across Scotland to take part, with an online option to accommodate a wider audience, and demand is expected to be just as high this year.
A free networking lunch, supported by the horticultural industry, provides a relaxed setting for delegates to meet representatives from a wide range of organisations, including:
British Association of Landscape Industries, Caledonian Air Pot Company, Chartered Institute of Horticulture, GoLandscape, Growforth, Horticultural Trades Association, ICL, Land Technology Scotland, Lantra Scotland, National Trust for Scotland, Professional Gardeners' Guild, Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh (RBGE), Royal Caledonian Horticultural Society (The Caley), Royal Horticulture Society, Scone Palace Garden Fair, Scotland Grows, Scottish Government, SRUC, The MacRobert Trust, Trellis, and Working for Gardeners.
Each organisation will host a stand where you can learn more about the opportunities they offer, and the future of horticulture across Scotland and beyond.
Save the date: Wednesday 12th November 2025 at Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh. More information HERE.
