Association news & class notes
David Kleb, M.S. ’95 is still living in Eldersburg, Maryland, with his wife of 30 years, Julie. Julie is an educator and David has been with the same company in alcohol distribution for the past 27 years. He can see retirement on the distant horizon! They visit their two children fairly frequently in Washington, D.C., where they coincidentally live about a mile apart. Since they have been empty nesters for a few years Dave and Julie decided to adopt a 4-month-old hound puppy from a kill shelter in southern Virginia. “Are we crazy or what?! Her name is Maggie, and she’s named for Maggie’s Pub in Westminster, Maryland, where we had our first date 32 years ago. We hope to give her a long, happy life.” Dave goes to Charlotte, North Carolina, every spring to spend a week of eating, drinking, and catching up with Jim Secker. Dave also spends time with Dave Weaver and Sue Parker Weaver ’92 a few times a year to keep current on their lives.
