As part of its long-term tradition, IEEE Radio & Wireless Week (RWW) 2024 will continue organizing high-quality workshops addressing hot topics and the latest technology trends in the RF and millimeter-wave (mm-wave) areas. For 2024, we aim to provide an excellent set of workshops addressing the topics of the RWW co-located conferences, including the IEEE Radio and Wireless Symposium, the IEEE Topical Conference on Power Amplifiers for Wireless and Radio Applications, the IEEE Topical Conference on Wireless Sensors and Sensor Networks, and the IEEE Topical Meeting on Silicon Monolithic Integrated Circuits in RF Systems, as well as the IEEE Space Hardware and Radio Conference. The following workshops are currently in preparation, and further ones are expected:
Furthermore, we plan to have an additional hands-on workshop where participants will learn in a practical way to work with related hardware and/or software:
For the first time, we will also host a nontechnical workshop addressed to young professionals and experienced engineers with ambitions to run a startup. This workshop will focus on entrepreneurship and will have speakers from successful venture capital groups.
Another traditional co-located conference, the Automatic Radio Frequency Techniques Group (ARFTG), will also contribute a dedicated workshop event to RWW 2024. The RWW workshops will be held on Sunday, 21 January (1:30–5:30 p.m.), and the ARFTG workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, 24 January (8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.).
We are inviting experts from science, academia, and industry to serve as organizers and speakers in order to provide an excellent workshop program to the audience. We are grateful to all contributors that have already confirmed their participation and for their great effort to ensure a high-quality program that you will hopefully enjoy and that keeps you up to date with the latest trends in RF and mm-wave topics.
