Felling Trailers
Felling Trailers' patented Air Bi-Fold Ramps was named a winer of the Rental 2025 Editor's Choice Award. Rental is the nationally recognized brand serving rental equipment professionals.
Felling's Air Bi-Fold Ramp System addresses common challenges in equipment loading through its air-powered design. The system requires no batteries or hydraulics, making it an environmentally friendly solution for the paving and low clearance equipment markets.
The patented system features 45-inch wide by 11 feet (7.5' + 3.5') wood inlaid bi-fold ramps specifically designed to accommodate the load angle necessary when loading cumbersome low-clearance equipment, such as paving equipment and directional drills. The 11-foot length provides operators with a gentler, more gradual 9.5-degree load angle, ensuring ease in loading and unloading operations.
A key feature in Felling's design is the operation of the flip ramp, which locks out fully when extending, preventing scraping or marring of the ground surface. This is particularly valuable for protecting newly paved surfaces. Additionally, Felling's controlled flow air ramp technology provides soft ground contact during deployment and retraction, helping to keep new surfaces free from damage.
The Air Bi-Fold Ramp System uses the tow vehicle's onboard air system to power the ramps, eliminating the need for maintenance associated with onboard electric or hydraulic systems. This design is entirely air-powered, with no batteries and no hydraulics.
The patented air bi-fold ramps system is currently available on 20-, 22.5-, 25-, and 30-ton tag series, with plans to expand into the semi-trailer lines. Few manufacturers in the marketplace offer an Air Bi-Fold Ramp system with the comprehensive functionality that Felling's patented design provides.
Felling Trailers is a family-owned and operated full-line trailer Manufacturer located in Central Minnesota.

Komatsu
Komatsu is strengthening its commitment to Canadian customers with a major investment to expand its parts distribution footprint and transform its Edmonton, Alberta, parts depot into a full-service distribution center. This marks a significant step in Komatsu’s ongoing effort to enhance service levels, reduce lead times and better support dealers and customers across Canada.
The new facility, spanning approximately 135,000 square feet, will double the capacity of Komatsu’s existing warehouse. This upgrade enables Komatsu to store and distribute fast-moving parts directly from Edmonton, significantly improving delivery times – including 24-hour delivery capabilities to its dealers in western Canada.
The expanded Edmonton facility will transition from a regional depot to a fully integrated parts distribution hub, serving as a cornerstone of Komatsu’s North American logistics network and streamlining supply routes from Komatsu’s global manufacturing hubs in Japan and Indonesia.
Key features of the new operation include:
Expanded capacity for faster-moving and strategic inventory
Advanced system integration with Komatsu’s global planning and warehouse management system (WMS) platforms
Improved warehouse efficiency through updated layouts, automation and new equipment
Enhanced workforce capacity, with plans to add additional staff and technological support
The investment underscores Komatsu’s long-term confidence in its Canadian dealer partners and in the Canadian market. With the country’s mining, forestry and construction sectors continuing to grow, the upgraded facility ensures Komatsu is well-positioned to support increased demand while maintaining its industry-leading service standards.
