Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. (LAN) has promoted four professionals to business group director.
Justin Reeves, P.E., LEED AP, vice president, was promoted to North Texas infrastructure business group director. In this new capacity, he leads strategic growth, financial management, and client relationships for the group.
With an engineering background that spans more than two decades, Reeves has served in technical and management roles for water and wastewater treatment planning; pipeline modeling, planning, design, construction and management; and rehabilitation and design of roadway and drainage systems.
Samir Matta, P.E., vice president, is now director of the municipal business group.
With more than three decades of experience in the civil engineering industry as a practice leader, project manager and design engineer, he has led various public works projects for municipal, county and federal agencies, such as the cities of San Antonio, Lansing and Battle Creek; the San Antonio Water System; and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs. He joined LAN in 2013.
Mackrena Ramos, P.E., vice president, was promoted to water conveyance business group director. During more than 25 years of engineering experience, she has proven herself a leader, primarily through her extensive experience in large-diameter water main design and leadership in managing the City of Houston Surface Water Transmission Program.
In this new role, she will utilize her experience and vision to oversee LAN's expansion initiatives.
Matt Manges, P.E., CFM, ENV SP, vice president, is now stormwater business group director. As the leader of LAN’s stormwater team, he has pioneered advanced stormwater modeling and led critical watershed studies, contributing to LAN’s expertise and leadership in stormwater management statewide.
Now as business group director, Manges will leverage his extensive experience and strategic vision to oversee LAN's expansion initiatives.

Poettker Construction Company promoted six team members in various departments.
In Project Management, Cory Griffin and Ben Menke were promoted to project manager, and Alicia Caudill was promoted to senior project engineer.
Griffin has 13 years of experience in project management and business development. He joined Poettker in 2021 as a project engineer and received his master’s in business administration from Greenville University.
Menke joined Poettker in 2022 as a Project Engineer. He has seven years of experience in commercial construction. He joined the company in 2022 Menke received his bachelor's degree in construction management from Southeast Missouri State University.
Caudill joined Poettker in 2023 as a Project Engineer. She has six years of experience in the construction industry and received her bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Southern Illinois University- Edwardsville.
In Preconstruction, Jenell Clark was promoted to the role of CAD technician and preconstruction administrator. Clark has 11 years of experience in design, estimating, and administration. She joined Poettker in 2022 in the role of Estimating Support and received her bachelor's degree in architectural studies from Southern Illinois University- Carbondale.
In Poettker’s Marketing department, Alyssa Kampwerth was promoted to lead marketing coordinator. Joining the company in 2014, as an estimating administrator, she most recently served in the role of preconstruction and marketing coordinator. She has 19 years of experience in construction administration and marketing.
For Poettker’s Warehouse team, Andy Jansen was promoted to service manager, leading the warehouse team for certain day-to-day tasks. He joined Poettker in 2015 as a Warehouse Mechanic and has 24 years of experience in service, mechanics, and management.

Platinum Contracting of Nevada, a leading general contracting firm specializing in underground utilities in Las Vegas, is expanding its team with the addition of three industry veterans. The firm named Robby Jay as co-owner and president, Bill Gettman as co-owner and chief operating officer, and Tom Bixby as project manager.
Platinum’s newest team members combine for nearly 100 years of experience, having worked on, or contributed to some of Las Vegas’ most iconic infrastructure, including the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Allegiant Stadium, the 215 Freeway, the Harry Reid International Airport Connector, utility scale renewable energy projects, flood channels, detention basins, among others.

Tom Bixby has over 20 years of diverse contracting experience and joined Platinum as project manager. His extensive background, spanning the construction of Coors Field in Colorado and Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, to custom residential homes across Nevada, contributes to the successful and safe delivery of projects, leading teams in the field and optimizing internal processes.
