Krohne
Optimass Coriolis mass flowmeters combine robust measuring principles and powerful electronics to produce a wide range of readings and device-specific data, including built-in leverages the features of the devices to translate available comprehensive measuring system data into sophisticated diagnostics information. The technology uses continuously executed test routines to cyclically compare the current device condition against its baseline performance at time of delivery. The mass flowmeters include sensor and actuator performance, detection of 2-phase flow (entrained gas in liquids), monitoring of measuring tube performance, continuous monitoring of integrated temperature and pressure measurements, and software and hardware errors detection. www.krohne.com
Trimble
Trimble offers its TSC5 Controller, a new rugged-yet-lightweight field solution. The welder features a 5-inch screen, keypad and all-day battery for reliable field data collection. Its ergonomic design is lightweight, easy to grip and ideal for rugged environments. The TSC5 is resistant to shock, dust and water. A brightly lit, anti-glare screen and backlit alphanumeric keypad enable fast, efficient operation in tough conditions, even while wearing gloves. The controller’s battery provides all-day power on a single charge, with the optional external battery nearly doubling the power for extended use. Featuring an Android 10 operating system, the Trimble TSC5 is fully integrated with Trimble’s land and construction surveying instruments and software packages, including Trimble Access 2021 Field Software and Trimble Siteworks Software. www.trimble.com
Trafag
Trafag, a manufacturer of measurement devices, introduces its 879x Hybrid Gas Density Monitor RS485/MODBUS, combining self-acting monitoring and continuous density measurement of insulating gases in one device. By directly measuring gas density, this innovative monitor is the most reliable solution on the market. The 879x Hybrid Gas Density Monitor uses a hybrid measurement principle, combining gas density reference chamber and oscillating quartz sensing element technologies for direct and accurate gas density measurement. The monitor is fully temperature compensated, providing exact switching output at all temperatures, ensuring accurate readings and reliable performance regardless of temperature fluctuations. Its wide, ambient temperature range of -40°C to +80°C ensures accurate and dependable performance in extreme conditions, making it suitable for deployment in both indoor and outdoor environments. www.trafag.com
Sensirion

The company said it is one of the world’s smallest sensors for direct CO2 that is designed for seamless integration into compact electronic devices, the sensor uses technological advancements in thermal conductivity sensing. The sensor offers accurate signal compensation and monitoring. Among its features, the STCC4 CO2 sensor is small (4 x 3 x 1.2 mm3), offers cost-efficiency for high-volume applications, has a current consumption of < 1 mA at 1 Hz sampling interval and provides accuracy of (+ 100 ppm +100). www.sensirion.com
Dinkle
Dinkle International added to its 0229 Series portfolio of connectors used for pluggable connectivity, between wires for inline splicing and wires to printed circuit boards (PCBs). The compact units are designed for installation in constrained spaces and are available in mating plug designs, with various pin counts of up to 40 poles. The connectors work with wire sizes from 28 AWG to 14 AWG, as well as solid or stranded conductors. In addition, Dinkle’s spring cage is easily operated, using press-to-release tabs, so users can install and remove any solid or stranded wires as needed without tools. Contact surfaces are wide, ensuring reliable operation at up to 300 V and 12 A (UL). The connectors are compliant with UL 1059 and IEC 61984. www.dinkle.com/en
Wellube
Flow management and integrity company Wellube launched its latest innovation, the Double Isolation Pipeline Stopper (DIPS). stopper provides a fail-safe isolation using a single size-on-size hot-tap intervention, eliminating the need for additional tapping for bleed and vent ports. This approach reduces risks and enhances safety, making it ideal for use in critical and harsh environments. The technology is third-party approved and is designed to reduce the risk to both asset and operator in highly volatile operational situations. It can be used to enable repairs, maintenance, modifications, or reconfiguration work on existing piping systems, whether on a planned or emergency basis. www.wellube.com
