Denso
Denso introduced the Archco 456, a two-component, high-solids epoxy coating designed to enhance performance and protection in critical pipeline applications.
The epoxy offers features tailored to meet the demanding requirements of pipeline operators. Its two-component, high-solids formulation ensures durability and long-lasting performance in challenging environments such as natural gas pipelines. The coating’s surface-tolerant composition simplifies application, enhancing its adaptability to diverse operational needs. By requiring only a single-coat application, Archco 456 significantly reduces application time and labor costs. This innovative coating delivers a hard, smooth, and glossy finish that improves flow efficiency by minimizing friction within pipelines. With low surface tension measured at 27 dynes, Archco 456 reduces turbulence and enhances flow dynamics, contributing to higher gas flow rates and operational cost savings. www.denso.com
Dinkle
Dinkle International added to its 0229 Series of connectors used for pluggable connectivity between wires for inline splicing, and from wires to printed circuit boards (PCBs). The compact units are designed for installation in constrained spaces and are available in mating plug designs with various pin counts of up to 40 poles. The connectors work with wire sizes from 28 AWG to 14 AWG solid or stranded conductor. In addition, Dinkle’s spring cage is easily operated, using press-to-release tabs, so users can install and remove any solid or stranded wires as needed without tools. Contact surfaces are wide, ensuring reliable operation at up to 300 V and 12 A (UL). The connectors are compliant with UL 1059 and IEC 61984. www.dinkle.com/en
NDT Global
NDT Global released its OPTIX Data Visualization and Insights Platform, providing pipeline operators with an intuitive, cloud-based dashboard to visualize all inline inspection (ILI) data in one accessible location. Digitization of the final inspection report, combined with the ease of filtering and arranging relevant data, allows operators to better understand their ILI inspection results and make more informed decisions to ensure the integrity of their pipelines. The platform provides a comprehensive view of pipeline conditions not previously available, bringing together results from many inspection runs. Continued advancement in ILI technologies has led to significantly more data to extract and interpret. www.ndt-global.com
Sunnen
Sunnen Products, a manufacturer of bore-sizing and finishing equipment introduced the HTE the 1600W Tube Hone, an i all-electric precision honing machine, specifically designed for the oil and natural gas industry’s demanding small-diameter, long-bore applications. The HTE 1600W excels in finishing long, narrow bores common in oil and gas equipment components such as valve stems, pump shafts, and small-diameter tubing, with the ability to process parts with IDs from 4-20 mm and lengths up to 1,500 mm. At the core of the HTE 1600W is its active three-axis function control, which provides better bore geometry and accuracy. This feature is essential for creating perfect sealing surfaces in valves and pumps used in the high-pressure environments of oil and gas extraction and processing. www.sunnen.com
Sensirion
Sensirion offered its next-generation miniature CO2 sensor series, the SCD4x. The device is built on the photo-acoustic sensing principle and the patented PASens and CMOSens Technology enables the small sensor size to combine with high performance. The integrated humidity and temperature sensor enable on-chip signal compensation and additional RH and T outputs. Also, the large supply voltage range (2.4 V-5.5 V), and adjustable power consumption make the SCD4x increases savings. The kit contains a four-pin jumper wire cable that enables fast prototyping, through integration into existing platforms like Arduino and Raspberry Pi. www.sensirion.com/scd4x
Bedford
Bedford Reinforced Plastics developed a proprietary coating to protect its fiberglass-reinforced polymer (FRP) products from the potentially negative effects of ultraviolet (UV) light exposure. The protective coating will be applied to all safety yellow PROForms structural shapes. The coating will also be used for ReadySeries pre-engineered structures, including ReadyPlatform, ReadyRail, ReadyLadder and ReadyStair. The compound withstands harsh weather exposure, extreme heat and humidity without changes to surface appearance or structural integrity. The shield strengthens the durability and performance of FRP structures while also increasing overall safety in facilities where the structures are used. The coating does not alter structural integrity, visual appeal or safety performance. bedfordreinforced.com
