Aalberts
Aalberts integrated piping systems offers its Apollo 215L butterfly valve product line, engineered to meet the evolving demands of oil and gas applications. The product line serves applications such as pipeline isolation and flow control. It is distinguished by its double-offset design, which provides improved sealing and reduced wear compared to concentric designs. The valves incorporate RTFM (TFM 1700) seat material, offering greater wear resistance and a higher modulus for improved overall performance. Reliable seat support is provided by a multi-bolt seat retainer, making the valves suitable for bi-directional dead-end service. The Apollo 215L line is available in both wafer and lug body styles. With multiple pressure classes available (150, 300, and 600) and a size range from 2 inches to 36 inches. www.aalberts-ips.us
NDT Global
NDT Global released its OPTIX Data Visualization and Insights Platform, providing pipeline operators with an intuitive, cloud-based dashboard to visualize all inline inspection (ILI) data in one accessible location. Digitization of the final inspection report, combined with the ease of filtering and arranging relevant data, allows operators to better understand their ILI inspection results and make more informed decisions to ensure the integrity of their pipelines. The platform provides a comprehensive view of pipeline conditions not previously available, bringing together results from many inspection runs. Continued advancement in ILI technologies has led to significantly more data to extract and interpret. www.ndt-global.com
Denso
Denso offers its Denlys Tape, a high-performance, multi-purpose petrolatum tape designed to provide corrosion protection for steel pipes, flanges, valves, and fittings. The tape is composed of a non-woven synthetic fabric carrier saturated with petrolatum and inert siliceous fillers, providing durable and long-lasting corrosion protection. It meets the NACE RP0375-2006 standards, ensuring compliance with industry benchmarks for corrosion protection. This tape can be applied to marginally prepared surfaces (SSPC SP 2-3. It’s ability to conform to irregular shapes and profiles offers flexibility in protecting complex surfaces like valves and flanges. Denlys Tape is UV resistant and can be applied to cold, wet surfaces, enabling installation in challenging environmental conditions. The tape is unaffected by water, acid, salts, or soil organics, providing robust protection against various corrosive substances. www.densona.com
LeakVISION
LeakVISION offers an in-pipe leakage detection sensor, mounted to a robot base or push-rod camera system. The system is used to inspect in-pipe features for leakage from joints, connections and other areas. The system was developed to decrease excavations, which require street work and disruptions. The system’s technology makes use of thermography to analyze and highlight leakage by directly scanning the pipeline and pinpointing the area. This allows teams to make targeted repairs with pin-point accuracy the first time. The inspection collects large amounts of data, and the related risk model can use site and network data to help manage pipeline risks in a different way to the MRPS that prioritize replacement. The LeakVISION system also comes equipped with a display monitor for live pipe viewing. www.synthotech.com
Pipetech
Flow remediation specialist Pipetech, has launched Downhole Scale Remediation (DSR) technology, a wellbore cleaning solutions supported by the Net Zero Technology Centre’s (NZTC) emissions reduction program. The technology addresses long-standing industry challenges posed by scale, wax, and other naturally occurring deposits that obstruct fluid flow, compromise production efficiency and create unsuitable surfaces for bridge plugs. Unlike traditional cleaning methods that rely heavily on corrosive chemicals, the DSR leverages a rotational high-pressure water-jetting system. Its water-jetting nozzle tracks and adapts to a wellbore’s varying inner diameter (ID), delivering precise and effective cleaning for safety valves, side pocket mandrels, and other critical areas, restoring surfaces to bare metal with unmatched efficiency. www.pipetechcfs.com
Oxford Flow
Oxford Flow, the flow control equipment specialist, is launching two pilots, designed for use in high- and low-pressure environments in response to demand among gas distribution networks (GDNs). Designed for use with the company’s hydrogen-ready IM series gas regulators, the pilots will expand the market and offer the GDN operator a solution that can be used throughout its system, with differing pilots in each pressure area. The PRX2H high-pressure pilot is now ready to be deployed with the PRX2L low-pressure pilot is scheduled for release in early 2024. The new range of pilots includes: PRX2L low pressure reducing pilot (13mbar-1.2 bar); PRX2 pressure reducing pilot (0.5-25 bar); PRX2H high pressure reducing pilot (17-70 bar); and PSX1 pressure sustaining/creep relief pilot (0.5-22 bar). www.oxford-flow.com P&GJ
