Effective July 1, Alan Armstrong will be the executive chairman and executive vice president of Williams, and Chad Zamarin will be become the company’s next CEO. Zamarin will join the Williams board of directors. Stephen Bergstrom, current chairman of the board, will transition to lead independent director.
Wilkinson Barker Knauer, LLP announced Jeffrey Stuart has joined the firm as a partner in the Austin, Texas, office. He has more than 15 years of experience advising energy clients on complex regulatory and transactional matters.
Owner-operator Woodway Energy Infrastructure appointed Diaco Aviki as president and CEO. He succeeds outgoing Thomas King, who will transition to Woodway Energy’s board. Prior to Woodway, Aviki was the independent director of Pinon Midstream.
Pipeline technology specialist STATS Group appointed Vikas Shangari as global sales director after an extensive recruitment process. He will lead strategic initiatives across the group’s nine international locations, spanning the Middle East, North America, APAC, the U.K., and Europe. He joined STATS in 2011 as Country Manager in Qatar.
EnerMech appointed Tony McAnulty as its chief operating officer, a new role within the business with a focus on driving market share, operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. He most recently served as EnerMech’s regional director, Australia and New Zealand, and is relocating to Aberdeen, U.K.

The newly developed platform incorporates digital technologies, providing expedited access to production data, improved analytical capabilities, and precise data tagging. Additionally, the platform serves as a data repository of as-built documentation for customer infrastructure, with data curated and ready to use for compliance needs.
OLI Systems has been awarded a Phase I Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). This award will enable the development of OLI’s CO₂ Transport Asset Integrity Model, a solution addressing the critical challenge of ensuring pipeline safety in carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) projects.

Ashlin Bollacker has joined the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America (INGAA) as the director of Pipeline Safety. She previously worked at the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA), where she was project manager of Stakeholder Engagement and Communications. Bollacker was with PHMSA for 10 years.
Mike Casavant has joined The Plastics Pipe Institute, Inc. (PPI) as the new chair of the Hydrostatic Stress Board (HSB), a technical-based group of voluntary industry experts. Formed nearly 70 years ago, the HSB develops, writes and provides the policies and recommendations for minimum strength characteristics for plastic pipe used in North America in gas, municipal water, wastewater, sewer industrial water plus building and construction system projects.
The Southern Gas Association has undergone a name change and is now known as SGA Natural Gas Association. The organization said the change is more than a “refreshed logo and new colors,” and that it is more of a reflection of where the industry is heading and how it serves its members. P&GJ
