This spring, Goose Creek CISD is thrilled to spotlight the extraordinary dedication and impact of our educators and staff through our newly reimagined “Of the Year” awards program. For the 2024–2025 school year, we will not only honor our outstanding Campus Teachers of the Year but also proudly introduce 15 additional “Of the Year” awards that recognize excellence across all facets of our district community.
These prestigious honors will be presented at the inaugural “Of the Year” Awards Gala on May 15 at Goose Creek Memorial High School. This celebration will also include a heartfelt tribute to our esteemed retirees.
Additionally, the event will feature special recognition for our Elementary and Secondary District Teachers of the Year, the James Becker Thomson Special Education Teacher of the Year, and our Elementary and Secondary Principals of the Year.
From our classrooms to our cafeterias, from transportation to technology, this year’s honorees represent the heart of Goose Creek CISD—professionals who go above and beyond to support our students, schools, and community.
