Callaway Golf dropped the second offering in its 2025 major series of Chrome Tour golf balls, which pays tribute to the host city of this week’s PGA Championship – Charlotte, North Carolina.
The May Major edition Chrome Tour golf balls ($54.99 per dozen) lean heavily in theme and colors of the “Queen City” where the Quail Hollow Club is located. The art of the ball features a QC emblem with a crown, the telephone area code 704 as well as purple-and-teal hornets alluding to the city’s original major professional franchise – the NBA’s Charlotte Hornets.
The previous 2025 April Major balls – featuring a green, yellow and white floral emblem and 706 area code for Augusta, Georgia, home of the Masters – are still available online.
Callaway recently introduced its Chrome family USA TruTrack design balls featuring a pattern of hexagonal U.S. flags on its Chrome Soft, Chrome Tour and Chrome Tour X models. TruTrack, first released in 2023, combines the best elements of Truvis and Triple Track for enhanced roll feedback, visible spin and alignment from your golf ball.
Not to be left out, Canada is celebrated in Callaway’s new Supersoft Canada golf balls ($24.99 per dozen), featuring all the performance benefits of Supersoft with a Canadian twist of fun designs that celebrate the Great North.
