Callaway introduces its entire new lineup of golf balls from tour performance to its popular soft and value options, and at the top of the pile is the new Chrome Tour Triple Diamond.
The Chrome Tour Triple Diamond builds off the momentum of Callaway’s most successful season on tour (three majors and 19 wins worldwide) and highest market share of 22.2 percent in July. It offers the distance, feel and shot-shaping characteristics of its top-line Chrome Tour in a design for better players who prefer a consistently penetrating flight, slightly firmer feel and lower spin on full shots. Every detail in the CT3D has been optimized including a new Seamless Tour Aero design, built for penetrating ball flights in any condition, and a high-performance urethane cover.
“It’s basically a lower spinning Chrome Tour X,” said Eric Loper, Callaway’s senior director of golf ball R&D. “It’s a golf ball that’s going to help bring that spin down, optimize trajectory, maximize distance, and be more consistent into the wind.”
The Chrome Tour Triple Diamond ($54.99 per dozen) will come in white and Triple Track.
The new ERC Soft is Callaway’s longest golf ball with soft feel, built using AI for increased control around the green, especially for low- to mid-handicap golfers. The softer, lower compression Hyper Elastic SoftFast Core increases ball speed and enhanced feel off the driver while the hybrid cover (16 percent softer than the previous generation) provides more greenside spin.
“Where AI started to come in is this new high-modulus mantle – it’s three times stiffer than the material that we used before,” said Loper. “When that golf ball is compressed, it’s going to act like a spring. It’s going to come off the face faster, but it also allows us to reduce driver and iron spin stress when you combine that with a much softer core.”
The ERC Soft ($39.99 dozen) will be available in white, yellow, Triple Track and Truvis.
The new Supersoft ($24.99 dozen) is designed with advanced cover, core and construction for increased ball speed with soft feel, control, and spin from tee to green. It will come in the widest range of style options: standard white and yellow; matte red, green, pink and orange; and Splatter 360 design in red, blue and pink.
All the new 2025 balls will be available Jan. 31, including the new Superfast, REVA and Warbird Distance+ balls.
