The new premium Wilson Staff Model and Staff Model X golf balls deliver the highest velocity, longest distance and highest iron-spin rate in the urethane ball category.
Built with a four-piece cast urethane construction, Wilson golf balls feature a unique core composition that magnifies energy to generate maximum velocity off the clubface for greater length, earning high recognition by third-party testers in ball speed and distance.
“Through our internal [robot] testing, both Staff Model and Staff Model X yield faster ball speeds than any other urethane golf ball in their respective class,” said Frank Simonutti, Wilson's global director of golf ball innovation. “During testing, the ball-speed numbers on both models were consistently higher than the most popular tour balls.”
With its mid-compression core, the Staff Model delivers a slightly softer feel than the X model, and achieves a flatter trajectory on drives and iron shots. The Staff Model X, in comparison, is built with a firm compression core, which yields a firmer feel and higher launch on iron shots.
