The fall and winter series of Ecco Golf shoes includes an all-new Biom Tour and a limited-edition Erik van Rooyen signature Biom H4 as well as updates to its mainstay models.
The Biom Tour ($190) is an eye-catching addition to the new range, featuring Ecco Golf’s Biom Natural Motion technology with a spiked sole design. The Pivix spikes are combined with additional grooves on the outsole, ensuring traction and stability throughout the swing, while the waterproof membrane keeps feet dry and comfortable in wet weather.
The soft, ultra-light Phorene midsole delivers bounce and energy return, while the Fluidform comfort technology ensures a finely tuned balance of cushioning and rebound to create an integral, flexible and durable bond without the compromises common with stitched and/or glued assemblies.
“Our latest collection is an excellent representation of our never-ending effort to push the boundaries of comfort, performance and style,” said Jason Bonenberger, Ecco Golf USA sales director. “We design shoes with relentlessly high standards and dedication to quality, which is why those who have played in a pair of Eccos know the difference.”
In collaboration with Ecco ambassador Erik van Rooyen, Ecco created a limited-edition, partially redesigned Biom H4 model ($220) paying homage to the mustachioed South African’s style with nods to his love of guitar and fashionable jogger pants. The shoe features a reworked upper, notably around the toe area, to produce a sleeker, slimmer look, while the tongue has been completely redesigned to produce a more ergonomic shape that fits more comfortably to the foot.
“Anyone that’s seen me play knows that I really enjoy being different and innovative on the golf course, and it’s awesome that the Ecco Golf team allows me to reflect that in my signature-edition styles,” van Rooyen said.
The updated men’s Biom C4 ($250) collection now has six different colorways, including a new white option. The model offers 360-degree breathability, allowing golfers to stay cool and comfortable throughout their round.
The Ecco S-Three ($220) will be available in white for the men as well as two new colorways for women. Additionally, the men’s and women’s ranges now feature the Boa Fit lacing system.
