Best known for the clubs and balls that bear its name, Titleist also offers a wide range of accessories. Among those are golf bags, and the company recently introduced six models that run across two distinct categories.
The Titleist Players Collection includes four recently released stand bags. Two of those – the Players 4 Plus StaDry and Players 4 StaDry – are designed for golfers who prefer to walk and are happy to do so no matter the weather. The key feature in these is a StaDry construction that employs seam-sealed zippers.
Though the Players 4 Plus and Players 4 bags do not possess those waterproofing materials, they do share other attributes, the company says, among them a double strap that has a padded back hub and a new foam package for added comfort, quick-access accessories pockets with magnetic closures and expandable, full-length apparel pockets.
As far as heft and number of pockets, both Players 4 Plus models have eight pockets and tip the scales at 4.2 pounds, while the Players 4s feature seven pockets and weigh 3.8 pounds.
With regards to the Titleist Hybrid Collection bags, they include the Hybrid 14 and the Hybrid 5. These are made for golfers who like to walk and ride, and have an added cart strap loop that allows easy access to the valuables pocket when strapped into the cart. They are also designed to work better on pushcarts.
The Hybrid 14 comes with nine pockets and has 14 full-length club dividers. It weighs 6.1 pounds. And the Hybrid 5 boasts seven pockets and weighs 4.6 pounds.
