The new Sport Series and Ripstop shoes from True Linkswear offer modern, minimalistic designs that target the game’s dedicated grinders to provide comfort and stability in any golfing condition.
The two Sport lines – Lux and OG – both feature waterproof Adaptive Sport Knit technology, a breathable knit upper tested to handle all seasons and environments and are flexible enough to conform to most foot shapes. They surpass industry-leading waterproof ratings and are backed by True’s two-year waterproof warranty.
They each have a new extra-strength heel pull tab to help to slide feet into flexible full-sock fit openings, and a new Sport lacing system for personalized stability. Both models have a Cross-Life tread that the company says will provide maximum versatility.
The Lux model features a new Wanderlux Superfoam midsole for increased comfort and rebound, with a 4- to 6-mm transitional drop for a more athletic feel. It comes in three colors – concrete gray, pin hunter green and cobblestone tan – and retails for $175.
The OG delivers what it calls “a barefoot experience” with an extra-wide toe box, zero drop and a thin-but-comfortable sole for maximum flexibility. It comes in two colors – deep sea blue and cobblestone – and retails for $165.
The latest True release is the All Day Ripstop – put forth as its most sustainable shoe yet. It’s a wind- and water-resistant shoe with an upper made from 100 percent recycled polyester and a tour-tested outsole cushion and tread. With a temperature regulating wool liner, it’s designed to keep feet warm and dry on cold wet days while still comfortable in warmer weather. True describes it as versatile enough to wear on and off the course and machine washable.
The Ripstop comes in six colors – including two bolder options exclusive to men (olive and deep sea) and women (rose and powder blue) – and retails for $150.
