You can’t ask much more from Esteve, who has blossomed into a routinely stellar mid-amateur. The Puerto Rico native won the Carlton Woods, the Caribbean and the Devil's Elbow, had a top-5 in the George C. Thomas, was medalist in stroke play at the Crump and reached match play in the U.S. Mid-Am.

Per usual, Hagestad continues to be the best mid-am in the game. He was nothing short of dominant in the U.S. Mid-Am, won the George C. Thomas by nine shots and was competitive outside the mid-am space during the Terra Cotta, the Western and the Jones Cup.
